Masala Chai is a super spicy tea that combines wonderful South Indian masala spices with a blend of Broken Pekoe teas from Assam and Kerala. You will find this tea served in the Bhajia Indian Cafes of London served with fantastic Indian snacks… delicious!

Type Of Tea – Black Tea from India.

Grade- Broken Pekoe

Ingredients- Black Tea from India, Ginger, Cinnamon, Clove and Nutmeg.

Brewing Guide- We recommend using 1 teaspoon of the leaf, but if you like a stronger tea, then you could us up to 1½. This tea tastes best with freshly boiled water (roughly 100 degrees) and left to infuse for 3 to 5 minuets. If you wanted your tea to be stronger, you can leave it for up to 7 minuets.

How to Serve- This tea tastes bet with a splash of milk. Depending on personal taste, you can add sugar.

Tasting Notes- This tea has a full bodied taste. You can really pick up the Indian Spices along with a cinnamon mixing with the ginger to leave a lovely after taste.

Colour in Cup- A bright coppery colour with golden highlights.

Storage- In an airtight container away from other strong scents and heat. We would recommend using this tea within a year of purchasing.
